I have successfully completed United Kingdom National Health Service (NHS) Global Health Exchange-India Project on Curriculum Development of Professionalism and Medical Ethics during 2015-2016. I acted as a group Leader of developing curriculum and content on Ethics in Beginning and End of Life Care.
I had undertaken doctoral study on Pandemic Influenza Planning and Management in India from Social Justice Perspective. During M.Phil, I had undertaken the study of Deep Ecology and tried to figure out how two great religious traditions; Hinduism and Buddhism promoted Deep Ecology to solve the deep rooted environmental problems in India. For MBGPH, I focused on the issues of Water Ethics in India. My broad research interest is in Applied Ethics, Bioethics. My specific research focus is on Health Inequity, Communicable Diseases, Social Determinants of Health, Indian Health Policy and Planning. In the past, I have served as a Part Time Lecturer in Philosophy in an Undergraduate Degree College under University of Calcutta from 2005-2007. And during 2008-2012, I was a Teaching Assistant for Ethics, Western Logic, and Business Ethics in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences in IIT Kharagpur, India.
I continue to increase my social impact by working and getting involved with people with differential abilities. I cherish the opportunity to engage and interact with different people and helping them in meeting their equitable needs.
